Like a ResortI just came back from ace camp and it was just like a resort. It was a long journey on the bus to ace camp with people, I totally did not know. I could only talk with my fellow ace leaders of the group, SOL (Sons Of Lasalle). On reaching, we spent our time setting up and doing activities. The Secondary twos had big and nice army tents made for them. Khaki beds(green cloth beds on metal poles) were all inside. 23 of them could fit in the bloody tent. They also had nice and clean toilets of 20 cubicles where they could take their time to shower and go to the toilet!(Nice showerhead 2)O ya, I almost forgot, they had a nice canteen to sit and eat their meals. It is like a platform with a nice shelter. Worst of all, it is on the same level as the campsite. No more climbing up the damn hill like 13 times to eat..........................(Arrrggghhh, hated them), there goes the old days!First activity, jungle survival. the guys cooked stuff prepared shelter and tried to make a fire and still failed. LOL! last yr ,also didn't make it. If they were slow, push up positions.HaH! We need not do!What I found surprising was there were not much hornet drills to do although they were slow and all. I remembered last year, everyone needed to hornet if we were slow.... Now, it is so uncommon that if we even ask the sec 2s to push up position, they still can stand up and stone!Rock On Beast!(who set the tone for the camp) He HORNET us all!, but we enjoyed the camp.When we were at the place 4 rafting, i looked at the floor, and it was all vegetation. Last time it was all mud and we had to hornet everytime. Now its all grass and more grass.Activities

The rest of the activities were same like last yr, especially the hike up Gunung Lambak(501m hill) , still find it a bit difficult and tiring, plus responsibilities like taking care of the force, doing sentry duties(large torchlights!) and turning up 4 meetings.On the last night, after the campfire,cheering and all, some ace leaders and I didn't sleep and we played cards till morning. We played Diti, murderer and didn't sleep at all. We had so much fun.Overall, camp-good, had fun, but rashes over me plus a bit of abrasion!Signing off...
